Why We Exist

Crypto mining hardware is one of the most jargon-heavy, hype-saturated corners of the internet to shop in. Search for the "best" anything and you will find pages stuffed with affiliate links to products the author never touched, fabricated review scores, and specs chosen to sell rather than to inform. CoinX was built to be the opposite: a straightforward, no-nonsense guide to the parts that make a mining rig work.

We organize everything around the six real decisions a rig builder faces — frame, risers, power supply, motherboard, cooling, and USB miners — and we recommend specific, currently-available products for each, with the trade-offs spelled out plainly.

How We Choose Products

Our picks are driven by the specifications that actually matter for a 24/7 mining rig: power delivery and connector safety on risers, efficiency and headroom on power supplies, slot count and stability on motherboards, and airflow versus static pressure on cooling. We compare real listings, read through owner feedback, and weigh price against reliability the way an experienced builder would.

Just as important is what we will not do. We do not fabricate reviews. We do not invent products or ASINs. And when a category is more about fun than profit — as USB miners genuinely are — we say so clearly rather than pretending otherwise.

Our promise: Every product link on this site points to a real, currently-listed item on Amazon. Where a product's availability is intermittent, we link a live search instead of a fixed listing and tell you why. We would rather send you to verify something yourself than pretend a link is more certain than it is.

How We Make Money

CoinX is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click a link on our site and make a purchase on Amazon, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. That commission is what funds the research behind these guides. It never influences which products we recommend — our rankings are based on merit, and a product that does not deserve a spot does not get one no matter what it pays.

A Word on Risk

Mining involves real hardware running at high load, real electricity costs, and a volatile market. Nothing on this site is financial advice. We cover how to build well; whether mining is profitable for you depends on your power rates, your hardware, and market conditions only you can evaluate. Please do your own research before spending money.
